Over 16 years ago, God sent our
family of 6 (Caleb was still two months away from being born in Bangkok, but
very much alive in Mommy’s tummy) literally to the other side of the world to
take God’s love and the message of Jesus to various unreached people groups
living in and around Northern Thailand where 99 out of every 100 people do not
know Jesus as their Savior. Lost? You can’t get much higher than 99%. How can
they believe?…unless they hear……How can they hear?….unless someone goes……How
can someone go?….. unless they are sent…. YOUR GIVING MATTERS!!!!!!
As I sit down to write this
thank you letter, I am reminded of what I shared with our NTIM board in our
last board meeting and that is…..GOD IS AT WORK changing lives and the
work that we are doing is very significant and strategic for reaching some of
the least reached people in the entire world. Reaching out to University
Students is one of the areas where we work best. The angels in heaven have
been rejoicing recently as these friends gave their hearts to Jesus and have
had their names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
Ball became a follower of Jesus on March 29, 2015. Ball is the guy in the picture on the far left in
the blue shirt. Ball is from the Muang Unreached People Group (UPG) and is the
first person in his entire family to follow Jesus.
Nok became a follower of
Jesus just two months ago on June 7, 2015. Nok is the young lady in the middle of the picture and is from the
Mien or Yao UPG and is the first person in her entire family to follow Jesus.
May became a follower of
Jesus on May 9, 2015. May is actually
Chinese and is from an UPG in China and became the first person in her entire
family to follow Jesus.
When God called us to Thailand,
He was calling us to a ministry that is committed to taking the gospel of our
Lord Jesus to where millions have never heard. He has called us to invest our
lives in making disciples of all the nations, and we are beginning to see God
move in mighty ways. We are writing you
to say thank you for the donations you have already made in the past and to extend an invitation
for you to continue joining God in what He is doing and to even challenge some
of you to consider becoming one of our monthly key financial ministry partners
through Northern Thailand Impact Ministry.
