Building Bridges.
That is a metaphor that we use here in Northern Thailand to help others
understand how we view the spiritual purpose for teaching English through our
English language school.
There are many things that we do to build bridges
to the hearts of the lost people in this part of God’s world. As many of you
know, we live in Northern Thailand where very few people have ever heard the
message of Jesus. 99 out of every 100 persons living here do not know Jesus as
their personal Savior and most of them have never even heard the message of our
Savior. Even in the midst of millions who have never heard, God is at work. God
is using several groups to bring the light of the gospel to the unreached
people groups (upg) living in and around Northern Thailand.
One of those groups is our English language school
called Grace Language School (GLS). GLS is registered with the Ministry of
Education of Thailand and owned and operated by NTIM's sister foundation in
Thailand called Channel of Blessing Foundation.
Because we believe that God answers your prayers,
we are asking you to pray for us in two specific areas.
We would first ask you to please pray for our current English outreach activities in Northern Thailand through Grace Language School (GLS). GLS currently has about 50 students that we teach during the week and in partnership with our church, Baan Athitaan Church, we also teach about 50 children on Saturday mornings. Pray for good relationships to be established between the teachers, the staff, and the students and their families.

Just last week, one of the Thai young people that
studies with us at GLS during the week gave her heart to Jesus. Her name is Nun.
Like most of the people we have a chance to lead to Jesus, Nun is the first
person in her entire family to become a follower of Jesus.
As you pray for GLS, please also pray that God will
send us more native English speaking laborers from the U.S.A., Australia,
and/or England that are ready and willing to join God in what He is doing in
and through Grace Language School. There is one couple currently in the
application process that we are very excited about joining us and we are asking
you to pray for them and for others who might want to make a difference with
their lives for Jesus even if they can only commit for 1 or 2 years. The fields
are ripe…but the laborers are truly few.
The second area we need your prayers in is our special upcoming outreaches into villages with a team from USA during May 2016. We have an awesome partner church out of Mississippi that not only puts us in their church budget each year but also sends us at least one team to help us each year. We thank God for FBC Florence, MS and for their love and commitment to helping us reach the unreached peoples in and around Northern Thailand. We are now in the final planning stages of their team coming this month and one of the things that we will be doing together is reaching out into a couple of villages that represent some of the least reached people groups in Northern Thailand. These villages are not just hap hazardly chosen either but they are villages where we have connections. We have a large and growing university ministry and some of the university students that are a part of our church family at Baan Athitaan Church are from these two villages we are targeting. Please pray for us as we seek to plow the ground for the gospel in these villages. One of the villages is from the Akha unreached people group and the other is from the Mien unreached people group.

Please
partner with us in prayer in these two areas. We do not want to sound like we
are always asking for financial support but we really could use the support.
It is through your donations to NTIM that make it
possible for us to join God in this great task of taking the message of our
great Savior to the poor, to the needy, and to those who have never heard.
Your Servants to the Nations in and around Northern Thailand,
Michael, for the team
