MAJOR STORM DAMAGE IN NORTHERN THAILAND – Update April 7, 2014

Dear Friends & Partners In Ministry,

Two days ago, a horrible storm came through Chiang Rai with strong winds, heavy rain, and large hail stones. This was the worst storm I have ever been through and the damage to homes, churches, and schools, is extensive. Today, several of us went to visit a village about 7 kilometers from Baan Athitaan Church where almost every roof of every home was destroyed and most everything in the house was destroyed either by the hail or by the rain.

Our ministry wants to take the lead in helping provide a small package of goods like soap, toothpaste, food items, and small things that will help them during this very difficult time. Most of the people are still sleeping in tents or with relatives and spending their day cleaning up the damage.
